Nichelle Heard - "The Social Butterfly"
Hi, I'm Nichelle Heard! I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and now call Charlotte, NC home. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Johnson C. Smith University, where I focused on courses related to marketing and communication. Shortly after graduation, I began my career in the field of Human Resources Talent Acquisition, where I have excelled in numerous roles including: Recruiter, Sourcing Strategist, and Campus Recruiter. I have always had a love for social media and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and adapting to the constantly changing algorithms on these platforms. As a teenager, I was known for staying up late at night on Myspace, even going so far as to block the family's dial-up connection to ensure that my Top 8 friends list was set. (Sorry, Mom and Dad!) In my free time, I enjoy spoiling my sweet shih-tzu pup Julio, brunching with friends, watching football, and indulging in my favorite foods (tacos and Chick-fil-A are at the top of the list!). She has also been a successful social media ad campaign manager for 4+ years and has successfully hired numerous individuals through social media recruitment marketing strategies. Nichelle's genius and subject matter expert knowledge in this field is unmatched, which is why she founded The Social Butterfly Consulting, LLC to share her passion for social media and expertise with business owners by helping them with their brand and social media strategy.
